Who We Are

We believe that great innovation doesn’t start with a flash of genius, it starts with the right people, in the right environment, working together to turn ideas into action.

Founded by Jonathan Bannister in 2010, Make Happy designs and delivers practical, creative sessions that go far beyond traditional brainstorming. Whether you’re facing a strategic challenge, launching a new initiative, or just want to bring fresh energy to your team’s thinking, we’re here to help.

Jonathan Bannister

Jonathan is a certified LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator, executive coach, and expert in creative problem solving. With over 20 years of experience, he’s helped hundreds of organisations innovate with clarity and confidence.

He brings both academic depth and hands-on experience, having worked with institutions such as the Creative Education Foundation, G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture, St Michael’s Fellowship, and Tangent at Trinity College Dublin.

Whether you’re a large organisation or a growing team, Jonathan ensures every session is dynamic, focused, and built to deliver measurable value.

A simple cycle we use across our workshops to ensure that learning leads to action

Learning-to-Action Cycle

  1. Retrieve: Recall prior learning
  2. Experience: Engage in structured activity
  3. Name: Extract key principles
  4. Apply: Map learning to practice
  5. Commit: Define next action
